Is pay-as-you-go always cheaper than per-seat?
No — and we'd rather say so here than have you find out later. If you want a fixed monthly bill regardless of usage, a per-seat licence gives you one. Oberon suits firms that prefer paying for work actually done: for most small and mid-size practices that works out far cheaper, and the calculator above shows the arithmetic.
Does the €25 credit expire?
Never. There are no monthly minimums, no use-it-or-lose-it rules and no cancellation fees. Credit sits on your account until you spend it.
Can costs run away on me?
Every AI, OCR and bundling operation shows its estimated cost before you confirm, and you can cancel at no charge if the estimate looks wrong. Auto-recharge has a threshold you set — or you can leave it off and top up manually.
What happens if my balance hits zero?
Your data is safe and you can still read everything. Metered operations pause until you top up — there is no lock-out, no penalty and no data ransom.
Do extra users cost anything?
No. Add your whole firm — trainees, support staff, accounts. Charges attach to operations, not people.
